AID FOR THE COLOMBIAN PACIFIC
December 24, 2020

Within Colombian territory there are populations to which priority attention should be given over others. One of them is the Pacific of Colombia, which runs from the border with Panama to the border with Ecuador. Within this region we find cities such as Choco, Buenaventura, Punta Soldado, Guapi and others. Which need the support of public and private institutions to benefit them and that the lives of their inhabitants can develop normally like that of any other Colombian.
The Reserva Naval del Pacífico (Pacific Naval Reserve) and the Comando de Apoyo a la Misión Pacífico (Pacific Mission Support Command, COAMI, for its initials in Spanish) contribute to the continuous improvement of this region, bringing institutional development, providing medical aid (doctors, nurses, psychologists), promoting social welfare and community development brigades, also distributing food, blankets and other types of aid.
On Wednesday, December 23, 2020, Fundación Lejaim (Lejaim Foundation) officially delivered the donations to COAMI Pacific, which were composed of 495 garments for men, women, boys and girls and 69 pairs of new shoes for men, women, boys and girls.
We are very happy about what we are achieving as a foundation, and we deeply wish to continue helping more people.
